Hoo years!!!
“Draco dormiens nunquam titillandus”
This project is so awesome we can hardly find the words to describe it. Over the course of one year Alice Finch painstakingly constructed this amazing model of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy using 400,000 LEGO bricks. And it’s not just the castle and its grounds, it’s all the rooms and corridors as well. This makes us want to read the Harry Potter books all over again.
The Brothers Brick has an interview with Finch about her massive Hogwarts, which won both the Best in Show and People’s Choice awards at BrickCon 2012. Finch spent 12 months assembling the campus, combining elements from the books and movies to create a complete structure inside and out.
Be sure to take a moment to visit Alice’s Flickr gallery to fully appreciate the scope of her awesome achievement.
